Support Adrian College Synchronized & Figure Skating

Picture
2020-2021 is Director of Skating "Coach" Ashley Carlson's 10th season with the Bulldogs.  Although this anniversary season looks unlike any other, she is committed to creating a special experience for all of our skating family.  What remains true to our program, despite challenges and limitations due to COVID-19, is a devotion to providing elite skating athletes opportunities for personal growth and athletic development on the ice, in the college classroom, and in life.

Coach Carlson has created a culture that is centered around love and care, while remaining highly competitive.  True to form, the synchronized skating and figure skating teams have just come off another remarkably successful competition season.

2019-2020 Season Highlights:
- Senior earned 2 international silver medals at the Britannia Cup and Zagreb Trophy
- Collegiate earned a silver medal at the US Championships
- Open Collegiate completed a second consecutive undefeated season
- Figure Skating notched its 8th consecutive Midwestern Conference Championship (under 1st-year head coach Nikki Czuhajewski)

Our skating program's unique culture and competitive success draws many prospective Bulldogs to explore Adrian College and ultimately choose it as their college home.  It is important that we continue to raise the bar so that we may retain our footing as one of the nation's premiere destinations for collegiate skating.  Your support will help us provide resources that not only benefit our current skating family, but will also attract future generations of Bulldogs to come.

Where we are looking to grow:
- year-round team and individualized nutrition services
- sport psychology training and mental health support
- new technology and equipment
- specialty guest coaching
- travel funding for shorter, more restful trips for athletes during competition season

After having to step away from the ice for months due to the pandemic, our teams are more driven than ever to train and compete at their best.  This year, the Senior team has been named to Team USA for the sixth consecutive season, Collegiate sets their sights on a national championship, Open Collegiate hunts for a three-peat, and Figure Skating looks to win big at home when hosting the National Intercollegiate Final in Adrian in April 2021.    We hope you'll join us in what is sure to be another great season.

Your generous support now will make a lifetime impact on our Bulldogs as they experience opportunities and make memories they will cherish forever.

Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for our program!

Bulldog Proud,
Adrian College Varsity Skating Coaching Staff
